HORRORIGINS is an annual independent horror film festival founded by filmmaker Brandon Waites. Our lineup includes full-length features, shorts, and even animation. We've added sci-fi and thriller genres and this year, there's an additional day to bring you 4 days of festival!
Our team’s mission—present a curation of the very best of this year's independent horror, while connecting people with creators and bringing insight into the film industry with special guests. First debuting in Atlanta in 2019, our fest found a fitting home in Tucson, Arizona, where we’ve partnered with the local Galaxy Theatres. For over 100 years, this city has had a rich legacy in cinema and we hope to continue the tradition of storytelling in this historic town.
We’re fortunate to receive lots of amazing stories from talented creators, domestically and internationally and we’re excited to share them with you. We appreciate your support and we’ll see you at the movies!
